We look at things. Things look at us. The more we spend time with them, the more of our bits are invested in them; and more space for them to inhabit bits of ours; one belongs to another! We change homes, but things remain; they carry with them our memories; the memories of our old sense of self, our passion, our sense of belongings, our losses and our hopes. Things are indeed the containers of who we are. They hold us; they hold our ever-changing sense of ourselves.
All drawings in the Femories collection are technical on 5 x 7 in paper
